I have worked extensively in systems development for the past 25 years, both as a practising professional and as an academic. My research and consultancy interests focus on systems development approaches including object-orientation, patterns and model driven development. I am co-author of 'Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using UML'. Currently I am Associate Dean in the School of Mathematical & Information Sciences.
