David is the Chief Operating Officer of Sunderland Software City, a new public/private sector initiative in the North East of England.
Sunderland Software City wants to help the North East's already burgeoning software sector to grow and thrive, making the region an attractive location for new businesses and students.
Before joining Sunderland Software City in November 2008, David worked for the regional development agency, One NorthEast and prior to that managed a small enterprise agency.
David is interested in understanding the world of software development, but despite a Computer Games programming degree from Abertay, Dundee, he is not a techy so be gentle!
