Brief Bio

I joined BT following graduation at Hatfield Polytechnic with a 2(1) in Computer Science in 1987. After working on various projects as a software coder then as Oracle Database Designer/Administrator; I moved to the SDH Network Operational Support Systems (OSS) Design Team in September 1998. From 2001 I picked up Solution Design work for Transmission OSS and became a Senior Solution Designer in 2004.


Since 2007, I am an Enterprise IT Architect for BT. I held responsibility for Domain Management from Jan to Sept 07. My current project is the Architecture Review process for End-to-End Architecture Realisation.


I have been a Chartered Engineer and Member of the British Computer Society since 1995 and was awarded Chartered IT Professional status in 2004. I have a special interest in Contingency and Business Continuity Solution Design and Planning, and technical interest in Service Oriented Architecture, Object Oriented Software Design and UML. I have also contributed to the TeleManagementForum.
