Session Goal

The goal was to examine the importance of simplicity in software development and decide if it was really worth having.

Session Description

The session should have been an interleaving of tutorial and workshop parts. However, due to low attendance--only six people--it became a round-table conversation.

Outcome

We discussed the importance of simplicity from various points of view, and we came to an agreement about some of the many factors that influence its presence or absence in the software we produce

• etc.

I'm not sure we had any new insight worth publishing.
