Robert Chatley is a principal consultant with Develogical, a software development consultancy based in London, UK. We specialise in agile software development practices, training, education and research.

He has worked as a software engineer in a number of industries, from finance and oil trading to public transport information, and has previously worked with companies from big to small including being an engineer at Google, the startup MetaBroadcast, and one of the longest-standing Extreme Programming teams in the UK, Kizoom.

Robert is a regular speaker at international software development conferences and chaired XPDay, the UK's premier agile development conference, in 2007 and 2008. He is also a guest lecturer at in software engineering at Imperial College London and the University of Oxford.

Robert holds an MEng Information Systems Engineering and a PhD in Software Engineering from Imperial.
