MartinLippert

Martin Lippert is a research assistant at the University of Hamburg and a professional software architect and consultant at it-Workplace-Solutions, Ldt. He has a solid background in object-oriented development, especially with XP techniques and XP project coaching for various domains. Currently he is working on his PhD thesis which focuses on large refactorings and refactoring of framework-based applications. Martin has given a number of talks, tutorials and demonstrations (e.g. ICSE, XP, XP-Universe, OOPSLA, ECOOP, HICSS, ICSTest, OOP and OT). Among his publications are articles for “Extreme Programming Examined” and “Extreme Programming Perspectives” and he co-authored the book “Extreme Programming in Action”, published by Wiley & Sons, 2002.
