Sid Page is an Air Traffic Control Engineer employed by NATS. He is currently involved in the specification of a new set of functionality for ATC use. The specification is being written in Z.

Sid has previously been the Design Authority for a Military ATC Messaging system that was maintained by NATS on behalf of the MoD. This system has been retired and is in the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park.

Sid is interested in all aspects of the software lifecycle and how efficiency, productivity, safety et al may be enhanced by use of modern pardigms and techniques, in particular the provision of assurances that systems meet the appropriate level of safety.
