Jonathan has been an active researcher in online support for education for many years, with publications in the UK and abroad. His main focus has been support for subject areas such as Human Computer Interaction, and Digital Forensics. He has recently been involved in a number of projects investigating the use of virtual worlds such as Second Life to support teaching, both blended and distant. Current post: head of Postgraduate Programs, School of Computing, University of Portsmouth.
