By combine the power of MDA[1] and pattern based code generator[2], OptimalJ from Compuware[3] offers a solution, a new breed of development environment enabling the rapid design, development and deployment of J2EE business applications. In the workshop, the participations will learn the basic concepts of OMG's MDA approach. A J2EE compliant application will be build as example during the workshop to demonstrate the power, particularly in terms of productivity, of the approach.
