Daniel Moth now lives in the USA working for Microsoft in the Parallel Computing Platform. Before that he worked for Microsoft in the UK (2%2b years), before that he worked at Avanade UK (8 months) and before that at Trend Control Systems Ltd, which is part of Honeywell (6 years).

For most of his career he has worked with the .NET Framework via Visual Studio including targeting embedded devices with the .NET Compact Framework (for which Microsoft recognised him as an MVP twice in 2005 and 2006). He captured all his knowledge around this area in his book: Mobile Development Handbook available from MS Press.

Daniel received a BSc(Hons) in Computing for Business from the University of Northumbria and realised that OO is the way to go during his professional placement with BT Labs. He gained a MSc with Distinction in Object Oriented Software Technology from the University of Brighton and during his project-placement taught UML and best OO practices to developers of 5 companies both in Europe and the USA. In a previous life he developed experience in building component systems with Rational Rose and COM. In addition to holding Microsoft certifications, he is also an INETA speaker.

Although at OT2000 Daniel caught a cold, he enjoyed OT2001 and may be back in the future.
