My current role is Quality Engineering Manager at Hornbill Systems. Previously I worked at Programming Research Ltd (producers of static analysis tools for C and C%2b%2b) as R&D Manager. Before moving into a management role, I was a developer at Celoxica and a researcher at Sharp Laboratories, working on hardware compilation.

My interests are in formal methods, software correctness, software quality, software engineering in general. I am an active member of the BCS Formal Aspects of Computing Science Specialist Group, organizing seminars to promote formal methods to a wider audience. I have co-edited a book based on the seminars, which will be published in 2010 by Springer.
