I have been in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick since 1996. I lecture, tutor, and assess the OO and UML part of the Introduction to Software Engineering course for the Second Year Degree students. The rest of my time I do research. I once did research in Functional Programming. My current research interests are in Frameworks, Tools and Methods. Before coming to Warwick, I was a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Coventry University. I have a PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from Edinburgh University (1968), and a MSc in Computer Science from Birmingham University (1989)
