Alan spent most of his career in BT. He started as a developer, worked in all areas of the software lifecycle and became a delivery and project manager. He began working with Agile methods in 2003, was a thought leader on Agile for BT and is now head of Agile Consulting for TCS consulting operations within Europe.

Alan's particular interest is in helping organisations transition to Agile, scaling the concepts to large global enterprises and ensuring organisations gain the benefits expected from Agile.

Alan lives in South Wales, is married with 3 children.
