The workshop was in three parts.

In the first part, the groups discussed their experience of projects where things didn't go as well as they would have liked. They recorded these experiences as a series of problem or symptom statements.

In the second part of the workshop, the groups used the lists they had created to draw out some Anti-Patterns to explain the problems or symptoms.

In the final part of the workshop, the groups created some alternative or remedial patterns to combat the problems that the Anti-Patterns did not solve effectively.

To wrap up he session, the groups presented their Patterns and Anti-Patterns to the rest of the attendees.
