Abstract | Accepted best practice for software development is to assemble your team in one room and keep them there until the job is done. But sometimes that just isn’t practical. In this session John and Paul will describe their experiences of doing development as part of dispersed teams, and there will also be an opportunity for audience participation via a short goldfish bowl discussion.
Audience | To get the most from the session you will have had experience of working as part of a software development team, and have basic understanding of agile methods, especially eXtreme Programming.
Benefits | * Find out about some of the pitfalls of dispersed development.
* Hear how others have made dispersed teams work * Learn about the tools and techniques that have been used successfully (and not!).
