Nick Efford


Nick currently teaches software engineering and security to undergraduates in the second and third years of their degrees in the School of Computing at the University of Leeds. He also teaches computer security to the School's MSc students. He has a particular interest in secure programming, and has recently collaborated with Microsoft on the development of undergraduate teaching materials in this area.

Nick works mainly with Java, C# and Python. He is the author of Digital Image Processing: A Practical Introduction Using Java, published by Pearson Education, and he contributed the chapter on Windows .NET security to Mcgraw-Hill's Network Security: The Complete Reference.
